Events

We hold a variety of events including:

Meetings

Would you like to join us? We have crafty get-togethers most months, an opportunity to meet other crafters, have a cuppa, a chat, share ideas, tips and hints. It doesn't matter what sort of craft you like or what standard you are, everyone is welcome to come to a meeting and find out more.
Our next meeting is a Festive one, with nibbles! We're meeting on Thursday 9th March in Mortimer Library at 8pm. Feel free to bring along a friend!

Craft Fairs

We have held a number of Craft Fairs in Mortimer throughout the year - typically these include a Spring fair, an Autumn fair and a Christmas fair.  Our fairs are unique in that all items at the fair are handcrafted, which guarantees a unique and original range of items.  Our most recent fair was on Friday 18 November2022. We'll be thinking about our next one soon.

Teaching sessions

In the past we have arranged adult craft evenings on an ad hoc basis, which are open to all to attend and we hope to continue doing this. These are run by our members to allow them to share their crafting passion - events run to date include soap felting, paper weaving and origami jewellery. Please like our facebook page or sign up for our mailing list to keep up to date with our upcoming events.

Cabinet in Mortimer Library

We have a display cabinet (made by one of our members, the lovely David Glover) where you can see items made by members of Made in Mortimer.

The items in the cabinet are changed monthly. If there is something which catches your eye, please feel free to contact the individual directly - contact details are provided for all the items displayed.  Please note - whilst the library is kind enough to allow us to display our items, they do not sell any items directly from the cabinet and cannot take any payments for items.
