Locally made sausages
The Mortimer Sausage Co. started life in the Horse and Groom, Mortimer in 2011 when several like minded people all expressed a wish to make good quality, low fat sausages with all natural ingredients. The hiring of St John's school kitchen followed and we commenced making sausages and developing our skills.
Although some of the original team have moved on we now have a dedicated core (Team Sausage) that includes: Glyn, David, Andy and Chris. We are supported by a number of others who are willingly co-opted when required.
Nowadays we try and focus on local events of all sizes and provide BBQ food, salads and chips etc. Also we make sausages and other products on roughly a monthly basis and sell through a number of channels including direct contact and are quite happy to deliver locally.
We also hire out our large gas BBQs for people who want to run their own events. Please consult our website for more detail of our offerings.
